Key Ingredient: Draksha means raisins in the field of Ayurveda. Raisins are rich in anti-oxidants, and Vitamin B. Both these nutrients are important in blood circulation and in maintaining the integrity of the red blood cells.
In the Drakshadi Kashayam, the activity of the Draksha is enhanced by the other herbs in the formulation like Amala, Musta, Nilotpala, Mrinala, Lodhra and Madhooka. This herbal formulation ensures to cover all the health conditions that result due to the disturbances in the Vata and Pitta. Drakshadi Kashayam helps in removing the alcohol from the liver by increasing the metabolism of the organ. The effects of alcohol are reduced drastically by this herbal formulation and thus hangover and the general tiredness is removed from the body. For people suffering from insanity, this formulation is like a saviour and is effective even when taken alone. As the liver functions are monitored by this, Jaundice can be prevented. The Vitamin B in this formulation helps to tackle anaemia in people. Doctors consultation is required before consuming this Ayurvedic formulation. To increase the efficiency of the formulation, it is recommended to consume little honey or sugar after taking the prescribed amount of this formulation. The Drakshadi Kashayam has to be mixed in equal quantities of warm water. The optimum dosage amount is about 12-24ml and to be taken at 6am and 6pm. The dosage quantity and the timing might differ after consultation with the doctor.
